5 days - 18 interns - Broetje-Automation opens the doors to interested students from the region
Take advantage of the summer holidays and gain exciting insights into various apprenticeships and companies - this opportunity is given to pupils aged 1, 5 to 18 from the Oldenburg area in the "Oldenburg Internship Week". A total of 18 students use this opportunity at Broetje-Automation to gain brief insights into the diverse professions in mechanical and plant engineering. They will get to know the professions of industrial clerk, electronics technician for industrial engineering, IT specialist for data and process analysis and for digital networking as well as industrial mechanic.
Spend the holidays in a different way and get a taste of the professional world. 18 students from the region take advantage of this opportunity and get a taste of various areas of everyday business life. Over five days, they get to know five different companies and professions. For one day, the students gain insights into what is part of their typical tasks and activities within their chosen profession.
In addition to numerous other companies from Oldenburg and the surrounding area, Broetje-Automation is also participating in the campaign at the Rastede site. "With our machines and systems, we are active worldwide in the high-tech aerospace industry. This is only possible with highly motivated and well-trained employees. That is why we want to actively participate in arousing young people's interest in technology," says Lutz Neugebauer, CEO of the Broetje-Automation Group.
The students showed great interest right from the start and are committed and curious. "Especially the mix of tasks makes it very interesting for me. During the training you get a broad insight into the company" sagt Azhar Khudeida, 18 years old from Oldenburg. She is interested in the profession of industrial clerk. During their training, the trainees at Broetje-Automation pass through many departments in the company in order to gain a broad insight into the various activities. In the end, the preferred department can be specified as the desired workplace. In this way, the trainees remain motivated and energetic at the start of their professional lives and can start into the professional world in the best possible way. Most trainees are taken on directly by Broetje-Automation after their training. All training occupations from electronics technicians to IT specialists to industrial mechanics are in demand among the 18 students.
"Such a taster day forms the foundation for curiosity about new tasks, exciting activities and arouses interest in potential newn motivated employees. And maybe we will soon be able to welcome some of the students back into our ranks for the start of their professional lives," says Lilli Beußel, Personnel Officer at Broetje-Automation. "Our thanks go to the organizers of the event, who made this possible and brought it to life. We are proud to be part of this region and look forward to more curious, inquisitive students who will get a taste of ours. "
Interested students, who did not get the chance this time, can get to know Broetje-Automation already in a few days at further opportunities: On September 9, the company will be represented at the large "AHOI MINT Festival" on Schlossplatz Oldenburg. Among other things, live robot demonstrations will take place there.
